Product details

If your Jeep Cherokee XJ, Comanche MJ, or Wrangler TJ is pulling, wandering, or making clunking noises through the steering, there's a good chance the factory ball joints are on their way out. They're a known weak point — especially once you've added a lift and bigger tyres into the mix. These Rough Country Heavy Duty Replacement Ball Joints are a direct swap for the factory items, built tougher to handle the extra stress of lifted setups and rougher terrain.

  • Set of 4 ball joints — 2 upper and 2 lower
  • Fits Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles
  • Chromoly ball stud — oil-quenched and tempered for serious durability
  • Fully greaseable with a metal-on-metal design for a longer lifespan than plastic or polymer alternatives
  • Carburised alloy housing and polyurethane dust boot
  • Compatible with all aftermarket axle shafts
  • Backed by a one-year replacement warranty

Note: metal-on-metal joints have a short break-in period (roughly the first 500km or so) where steering may feel heavier — this settles down and the result is a tight, solid feel.

As NZ's official Rough Country importer, Magwarehouse stocks these ready to go. Give us a call on 09 250 1803 or swing past our Manukau workshop — no appointment needed.
